Description local10 2023-03-04 16:21:07 UTC
SUMMARY
KDE login screen has poor UI. The keyboard layout switch is located in the lower left corner, far away from the password field. If the user has wrong keyboard layout enabled, it may take several failed login attempts before the user realizes he's using the wrong layout.

EXPECTED RESULT
On the KDE login screen, the keyboard layout switch should be located directly above (or maybe below) the password field as it is critically important to being able to enter correct password, not in the lower left corner as it currently is.

Thank you for the bug report!

Please note that Plasma 5.26.90 will not be supported for much longer by KDE; supported versions are 5.27, and 5.27 or newer.

Please upgrade to the latest version as soon as your distribution makes it available to you. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one.
