If you wait 16 seconds, does it revert to its former settings and bring back the image? Which screen? All screens? How many screens do you have? What GPU hardware are you using? Does it happen on X11 too? (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > If you wait 16 seconds, does it revert to its former settings and bring back > the image? I've waited as long as 10 min and the image didn't come back. Which screen? All screens? How many screens do you have? Only one screen. >What GPU hardware are you using? Output of inxi -SG System: Host: localhost.localdomain Kernel: 6.2.0-1-default arch: x86_64 bits: 64 Desktop: KDE Plasma v: 5.27.1 Distro: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20230301 Graphics: Device-1: NVIDIA GP106 [GeForce GTX 1060 6GB] driver: nvidia v: 530.30.02 Display: x11 server: X.Org v: 21.1.7 with: Xwayland v: 22.1.8 driver: X: loaded: nvidia gpu: nvidia,nvidia-nvswitch resolution: 3840x2160~60Hz API: OpenGL v: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 530.30.02 renderer: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/PCIe/SSE2 Does it happen on X11 too? No Thanks for the info. I've installed nvidia beta driver 535.43. Current updates are Plasma 5.27.5 Frameworks 5.106.0 Qt 5.15.9 and kernel 6.3.4-1. I can now change the resolution and settings will save it after a few of seconds of a dark screen. Looks like this bug has been solved. Cool, thanks for following up! |
