feature request for (adding an option in the settings for) adding highlighting to the right click context menu when "text selection" is selected. 
UI-wise this would be a great improvement, if instead of having to select a highlighting tool in the menu, users could also just use the text-selection tool for everything in combination with the right-click context menu to enable various actions for the selected bit of text (eg various highlighting options, add comments, etc).

so the context menu that currently lists (copy text -- speak text -- search for ....)
