Are you using the "Menu transparency" setting in Breeze? to get the menu to be transparent?

Are you using the Wayland or X11 session?

Yes, I'm using the setting in Breeze application style, and I'm on X11.

For some reason, whether toggling the blur effect or setting the menu to be opaque and then to be transparent seem to have fixed the issue... now it's blurred just fine.

All the other menus were properly blurred, just this particular menu was not blurred. I don't think this is just a temporally glitch, as the menu had been like that for at least several weeks, even after having gone through some reboots.

Well that's weird.
Comment 4 Ryan Y 2023-04-01 17:18:34 UTC
It happened again.
I can now confirm that touching the "Transparency" setting in the application style temporarily fixes the issue; turning the blur desktop effect on and off doesn't.
