This Weird bugs that a lot of the effects in Krita just won't work properly. Sorry not really good at describing things

You are using the LAB color space. For "typical" experience with blending modes, it's recommended to use RGB color space.

Many of the blending modes are not possible in non-RGB color spaces, and some might be defined but work differently (for example, Multiply in CMYK color space results in lighter colors due to the characteristics of CMYK color space - instead of 0 being the darkest color, it's the lightest).
