STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a pdf document and use the area selection tool or text selection tool.
2.After you are done using the tool, try to make your cursor revert back to its original state.
3.Even after right-clicking, closing and reopening the document, or pressing the ESC key there is nothing you can to do make this happen. Once you click on the Area Selection or Text Selection tools, you can't stop using them.

OBSERVED RESULT
There is no way to stop using the Area Selection or Text Selection tools.

You need to click on the button in the toolbar marked "Browse" that has an icon with a hand. It should be right next to the button you clicked to enter selection mode.
