I forgot to mention I am using X11 on a setup with a Radeon Vega 8 GPU and Linux 5.19.5. Please include output of "xrandr -q" and "kscreen-doctor -o" after applying the change Created attachment 156502 [details]

Here are the requested command outputs.

Sorry, Nate, but I have to disagree here - the main issue is with the screens not being positioned according to the settings, not with the positioning of windows: the latter is just a consequence of the former. Just look at the screenshot: the screens should be arranged horizontally, but they are not and the most likely culprit is KScreen, not KWin. I'm bringing this back to KScreen. Sorry to request another thing but could you attach the output of kscreen-console monitor while you keep it running while changing the layout unsuccessfully?
