SUMMARY
***
Kwallet doesn't ask if I want to use it as a password manager and erases all my browsers' saved sessions silently. That's extremely frustration on dual GUI.
I, from time to time install KDE Plasma along side Gnome, as it is a per version test to check how it's doing (good work guys!) I always forget to remove Kwallet and Kwallet related packages. Because as soon as I log in to Plasma and open any browser, all my sessions are gone. I am not sure, but I think Chromium based ones lose their sessions even if I don't open them. As I am not willing to login back again to all my accounts to test it, I will assume that I am miss remembering it. I also don't know if it would happen with another DE.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use for example Fedora Workstation and save some email session, youtube, twitch etc with your logged account
2. Install Plasma Desktop, login to Plasma
3. Open your browser and see that all previously saved sessions are gone. Even getting back to Gnome, they are gone

OBSERVED RESULT
Lose all logged services, websites, email etc

EXPECTED RESULT
To not require to login to all my services again

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora Linux 37
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.25, 5.26 and 5.27 (kdesig/kde copr)

What makes you assume that this is caused by KWallet?

Removing kwallet (In reply to Nicolas Fella from comment #1)

Doing this doas dnf remove kwalletmanager pm-kwallet kwalletd keeps my saved sessions.
This time, installing today, it showed a dialog even with it removed.(In reply to Nicolas Fella from comment #1)

When I did this doas dnf remove kwalletmanager pm-kwallet kwalletd right after doas dnf groupinstall "KDE Plasma Workspaces" I did not have to deal with it.
I was about to test now again with kdesig copr, but it seems that Fedora is mixing kdesig and fedoras packages.

well, KWallet certainly does not actively do anything to your browser data. If Chrome behaves differently depending on whether KWallet is present or not then that's a Chrome problem, not something KWallet has any influence over

On previous versions I also lost Firefox's. But what you say makes sense. I haven“t thought that way.
