Created attachment 156289 [details] minimum reproducible case SUMMARY When copy pasting from a specific PDF the text comes out as random symbols on paste. Also find function doesn't recognize that text. Both features does work if I open the same file on firefox. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open the PDF attached in okular 2. Select text 3. ctrl+c 4. open kate 5. ctrl+v OBSERVED RESULT On kate the only random symbols are pasted EXPECTED RESULT The selected text is pasted as I can read it. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.102.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 Kernel Version: 6.1.11-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The same feature works as intended on firefox and text is correctly selectable on okular so I don't think it's a file problem.
