SUMMARY
When opening a folder with Kate via Dolphin, the Projects panel is not opened by default. When you use the "Open Folder..." button on the landing page, however, it is.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Right click on a folder in Dolphin, and then select "Open Folder With" > "Kate"

OBSERVED RESULT
The Projects panel is not opened for you. As such, there is no indication that the folder has actually been opened.

EXPECTED RESULT
As with the "Open Folder..." button on the Welcome page, the Projects panel is opened.
