Both the calculator (kcalc, not gnome) and report-bug work for me with master version in Gentoo. However, the appimage for 5.1 launches the calculator but not report-bug. I do get the report-bug popup, but when I click the link, I get a console error XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /usr/lib64/firefox/libxul.so: /tmp/.mount_kmymoniJbaVi/usr/lib/libssl3.so: version `NSS_3.80' not found (required by /usr/lib64/firefox/libxul.so) Couldn't load XPCOM. suggesting it's a build related error, not inherent to KMM, and it might just be a version mismatch requiring rebuilding something. I'd probably report it to Mint. I might also try setting firefox instead of chrome/chromium in case the problem is actually in the browser and not in KMM/KDE. Created attachment 156868 [details]

I downloaded the latest appimage (408) for linux and tried the calculator
from the menu.
I now get the below dialog box which I never got before, but calculator
still doesn't launch from menu but does when the same command is given in
Terminal.

Just a guess, but try putting in the full path to gnome-calculator. Also, is there any console output when you get that error? Created attachment 156918 [details] image.png Jack I tried full path with appimage. I went to console and did a "whereis" to confirm path for gnome-calculator. I copied that path and pasted it into settings for program. Got the below error when I tried to use calculator from menu bar: [image: image.png] I then ran program from console as you suggested with full path in the settings. Calculator worked fine from menu bar. I then removed the path from the calculator setting and ran again from console. Calculator ran fine without path from menu bar with console. Hope that will help you figure out what the problem is. Mark, [When replying to a bug by email, please send only your reply, and cut out what you are replying to, as your entire message becomes the next comment.] So appimage works if launched from command line, but not if launched by clicking on its icon. It seems like something is missing from the appimage, but is able to be found when launched from command line. There is probably an environment variable which lets it find the system copy of some required library. Do you get any console error when trying the distro version from command line? (try both the calculator and report a bug.) Adjusting state. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
