STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. New File
2. Create multiple layers
3. Tools > Scripts > Export Layers
4. Select "Initial directory"

OBSERVED RESULT
Export Layers modal close without any message, neither the export result


EXPECTED RESULT
To complete the Export Layers process

I'm sorry I cannot reproduce this issue neither on 5.1.5 nor master, could you paste the system information from: krita -> help

I use and test the python script always using that script and the scripter
