Looks like the same as Bug 446111 which was fixed by a backported patch in the KDE Qt patch collection. Neon's may be behind. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 446111 *** That bug is against Wayland, while I was using X11. Also, the linked commit seems to be about drag&drop, which I was not doing at all. Do you still think it's a duplicate?

I hate to waste my time investigating bugs that are already solved. Where can I find a Neon live image that includes already-committed fixes?

systemsettings (5.27.1) using Qt 5.15.8
Setting a new screen resolution and allowing it to timeout and recover results in a system settings crash.
This is 100% reproducible regardless of X.org or Wayland being used. It happens in the initial live environment of KDE Neon and once installed.
This happens on a 100% up-to-date system as of 2-22-2023
