SUMMARY

I cannot open any alternative window. For example, when clicking on "Batch queue manager", the window flashes but nothing opens.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add something to batch manager
2. click to open it
3. nothing opens

OBSERVED RESULT

The window flashes


EXPECTED RESULT

A (new) window should open, with the selected thing

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Vanilla OS 22.10 (GNOME)

This happens both with full screen and without it

Tested here with the current digiKam-8.0.0 AppImage on Ubuntu in a VM. No problems opening the BQM or other windows.
Please post the content of your digiKamrc configuration file.

Not reproducibke here with 8.0.0 current AppImage running under Ubuntu 22.04.

Did you seen the previous message from Maik ?
