Thanks! just booted garuda (arch based, 2025-03-05 vanilla plasma edition, 6.3.2-1) and it seems to not be fixed. Wayland immediately turns screen black but x11 waits till lockscreen ui is loaded, thus making noticable delay (when cpu locked to 400mhz) and not letting me hide my questionable stuff immediately when someone enters my room (security risc issue) i know x11 is very low priority right now but idk maybe it will ever be fixed i hope Closing as not worth fixing due to minor effect or esoteric nature, and a shift of focus away from X11. Thanks for understanding, folks! |
