SUMMARY
After I updated KDE Frameworks packages from 5.101 to 5.102, I can not exit session back to login sceen (sddm). If I press "leave session" in plasma main menu, screen goes black, all apps close, cursor still moves and that's it. The only way I can go back to login screen after that is pressing Ctrl+Alt+Backspace or killing Xorg from another tty. With 5.101 I could return to login screen just fine.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Login to X11 plasma session
2. Try to exit session

OBSERVED RESULT
Black screen with mouse cursor

EXPECTED RESULT
Login screen

Hmm, nothing is jumping out at me from https://kde.org/announcements/frameworks/5/5.102.0.

Were there other updates that happened at the same time, or did you truly only upgrade from Frameworks 5.101 to 5.102 when this happened?

Does it eventually manage to log out and get you back to the SDDM login screen? Or does it stay in this state forever no matter how long you wait?

I left my pc and went to bed, in the morning it was still there, so it seems it stays forever until I kill Xorg.
I could not find text log of dnfdragora so here are the screenshots of update journal.

Thanks. Looks like indeed, it's mostly frameworks packages that were updated. Any idea on how to proceed, David?

After some more updates to components like Qt, KDE applications, systemd, the problem is gone, I can now end session properly. Not sure which component was responsible.

It's also possible this was a packaging issue of some sort.
