SUMMARY
When a file is drag and dropped a menu opens with three options: move, copy and symlink.
It would be nice to have a fourth option to hard-link a file.
I suggest to make this fourth option an opt-in feature that the user should enable in dolphin settings to keep the drag and drop menu simple-by-default.

I was about to write my own feature request about this very thing.

I strongly second this, as a simplified way to use "hardlinks" can greatly enhance the user experience and yield better storage efficiency, without resorting to "symlinks" which can (easily) be "broken" by simply re-organizing files an folders.
