Description foto19@ernst-buerjes.de 2023-01-20 19:02:08 UTC
SUMMARY
***
How can I make an AND-Operation with different "Stichwörter", "Alben" , "Markierungen", "Datum" etc. ?
***

EXAMPLE
I have same Pictures of München which I made in several years . All are stored in the DigiKam database.
I want to select the München pictures, but only those, I made in 2012.

So I select München in the "Stichwörte".
Then I go to "Datum" and I select the year 2012.

What happens?
I see ALL pictueres of 2012. The first selection of München is not jet present.

Did I overlook a Menüpoint? Where ist this Item hidden?

Hi

You needs to use Advanced Search tool : https://docs.digikam.org/en/main_window/search_view.html#the-advanced-search-tool

Hi Gilles,

thank you for the quick answer!

the Advanced Search tool is really great! A lot of years I have used
ACDSee. There the "Stichwörter" (In ACDSEE: Categories) have a
select-box. When one sets a select-box of a Categorie the select-boxes
of the other Categories are _not_ cleared. With a klick-box in the head
of the list one can decide, whether one wants an and- or an
or-operation. DigiKam is a bit more complicated but a lot more powerful.

Thanks
Ernst
