In case somebody claims something is wrong with the message and somehow only web browser knows how to handle it
I compared the very same message in Thunderbird vs current Kontakt/Kmail
Results : in Thunderbird ok, in Kontant not ok (embedded picture missing)

There is no issue when I open the same image in KMail 5.22.2 (22.12.2).
So, for me the issue is when I display an email in Kontact application. The same email in Kmail standalone is displayed correctly. ok it's a problem in kontact (kmail plugin) ok now I can investigate it.
