STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a source (tar.gz file) released

OBSERVED RESULT

Untranslated to Valencian Language.

EXPECTED RESULT

Being able to use the translation from the published version.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I am the translator of the Catalan (ca) and Valencian (ca@valencia) versions, but I like that the work is distributed, I have also made sure that the quality is good.

I personally use the translation with msgfmt -a 1 po -o mo and it works.

Right. ca@valencia do exist in po svn extraction script used to release 7.x.

8.0.0 is completely different as po dir is directly linked in git repository with source code. All translation available are there including ca@valencia.

Official 8.0.0-beta1 tarball include ca@valencia po file :
