SUMMARY
When my laptop with an external monitor that has RGB lights goes to sleep for a long time. When i wake up the laptop, the lights are off and in the task manager "Battery and Brightness" "Keyboard Brightness" slider is all the way off to the left. The other slider for screen brightness does not adjust only my keyboard.

if it is a quick sleep like 15 or 30 minutes there is no issue. Only if it like 1 hour or more. Maybe that is when usb power is cut off? My uefi is very limited and i do not see options for that. 

it is good that the keyboard light goes off when going to sleep but it should go back to the previous value when wake up. it is very inconvenient when it is dark and i cannot see anything to enter the login password.

Unplugging and plugging in my keyboard returns the brightness to the previous setting which was 100% but i dont want to ruin my usb port and also it is very inconvenient to unplug and plug in the keyboard 2 or 3 times a day lol. My only choice is using my phone as a flashlight or turning on my room light or guess i am entering the password right.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have a laptop with external keyboard with rgb lights
2. let your laptop go to sleep
3. wait an hour or maybe more
4. wake up your laptop and the keyboard lights might be off

OBSERVED RESULT
Lights on my rgb external keyboard are off

EXPECTED RESULT
The lights turn off when my laptop goes to sleep but goes back to the previous value when it wakes from sleep.
