Follow the instructions here to run digiKam under a console and capture debug traces : https://www.digikam.org/contribute/ Gilles Caulier Are you using our digiKam AppImage or is it a digiKam version of Ubuntu? Activate internal debugging in digiKam Setup under Miscellaneous-> System. Then restart digiKam in the terminal and post the debug output from startup to the problem. Maik Without the image in question or the debug log, we can't help as the problem is unknown. Maik I recorded two bugs. You are using the Ubuntu digiKam version, it's massively limited because it's a snap package. Snap packages use a sandbox. digiKam therefore has no file permissions outside of your home area. The video problem is also known because Ubuntu's FFmpeg packages are restricted. Use our AppImage, just make it executable and start. https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Maik *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 439581 *** Fixed with #439581 |
