STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open KDE Connect SMS on computer.
2. Select a text thread and compose a message.
3. Click Send or press enter. Nothing happens and the Send button becomes unclickable.

OBSERVED RESULT
No SMS messages are sent.

EXPECTED RESULT
SMS message should be sent.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Neon 22.0.4
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.101.1
Qt Version: 5.15.8

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This issue only started happening with the Android KDE Connect version 1.20.0 and later. The prior versions of Android KDE Connect app from earlier in 2022 worked perfectly.

I have now tested this on multiple machines running the latest version of KDE Neon paired with Android KDE Connect app version 1.20.x and 1.21.1. The above results are the same. Have also tried unpairing and repairing with no effect.

I had previously put in a bug report for the same behaviour - but it resolved.
The same behaviour is now back and closing/reconnecting etc does not resolve it.
The affects two different computers.

I can't send SMS from the desktop (24.02.0) via the Android app (1.29.0). I'm on Plasma 6 on Arch Linux (extra-testing repo)

Using Debian 13.0.0, kernel 6.12.41+deb13-amd64 (64-bits), Plasma 6.3.6

KDEConnect on PC works and replys to SMS or message within a time-window (undetermined). KDE on mobile full access and no restrictions on battery or mobile data. But after that undetermined time replys or sends are not available anymore from the PC,

Exception: Command line works ok: 
kdeconnect-cli --device <ID> --send-sms <destination> -t "text text text"

Shows KDE Connect SMS Hanging on Startup

I have recently installed KDE Connect,
KDE Connect for iOS version 0.5.2(5) 
iPhone iOS version 18.6.2 (iPhone 12 Pro)
KDE Connect for Linux version 21.12.3
File transfer and Photo transfer from and to Phone work OK but
I cannot use it to initiate calls or Send and Receive SMS.
the SMS functionality is what I wanted and why I installed it.
With the disappearnce/discontinuamce of Skype I would really like to be able to use this instead.
Unfortunately I can't add more insight to the problem other than to give you the screenshot.
