SUMMARY

My preference is to invert the scroll direction. When this setting is enabled and I put my machine into sleep mode, the scroll direction is reset to default.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Mouse Settings in System Settings
2. Enable "Invert Scroll Direction" option and apply the changes
3. Suspend to RAM
4. Resume session and log in
5. Attempt to scroll

OBSERVED RESULT
- "Invert Scroll Direction" setting is enabled
- Pane scrolls down when I spin the mouse wheel toward myself
- Pane scrolls up when I scroll the mouse wheel away from myself

EXPECTED RESULT
- "Invert Scroll Direction" setting is enabled
- Pane scrolls up when I spin the mouse wheel toward myself
- Pane scrolls down when I scroll the mouse wheel away from myself

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: OpenSUSE Leap 15.4
KDE Plasma Version: Plasma 5.24.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is similar to but distinct from Bug 395722, as this applies to a mouse and not a touchpad. This problem in fact does not seem to affect my touchpad.

Thanks for the reference, bugzilla's duplicate finder is good but not perfect.
