STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. use kdenlive to work on several projects and rendering without closing it
2. close kdenlive
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT

Linux Mint 21.1 Cinnamon crashes and turns back to the login menu which is very annoying. This issue keeps presisting after Linux Mint 21 was released in july 2022. Even after turning off the option that when Cinnamon uses to much RAM this issue pops up every time when you use kdenlive for a several hours

EXPECTED RESULT

Kdenlive shuts down on the OS (Linux Mint 21 Cinnamon) keeps on running, ready for other use

Thanks for your crash report. If it causes your entire desktop to crash, that suggests a bigger problem than Kdenlive, perhaps graphics driver crash or system resource issue. Are there any kernel logs from the time of the crash that indicate issuess?

The issue seems to be resolved when in the mean time some kernel and graphic driver updates have been installed.
