Description m.wege 2023-01-06 14:15:29 UTC
I have installed google-chrome via Google's own repository. It works and everything is fine. But recently realised that it does not show up as installed in Discover. Searching for google-chrome, chrome or "google chrome" only shoes two different flatpak versions. It does appear in Synaptic, the repository is also show correctly in the list of repositories. While I am writing this, I am noticing that the same problem exists with Firefox. I have installed the deb-version, which appears installed correctly in synaptic but is not all listed in Discover.

Hi,

Are you still experiencing issues with regards to this ticket? Plasma 5.26.5 is quite old now.

Are you able to provide any information on how you added Google's repository to your system? Steps taken, screenshots, logs etc.

Thanks!

I have meanwhile given up on KDE Neon and Google Chrome. Since I have to switched to CachyOS and Vivaldi, I unfortunately can not check this anymore.
