I'm wondering if BTRFS flags for compression (btrfs properties command) can be integrated into properties window in Dolphin. It would be very nice to see and set up compression for folders without opening console (like it is possible in Windows).

In general it's certainly possible to integrate some btrfs features into the interface. The question becomes what makes sense from a UI/UX perspective

In my opinion compression is a good candidate. It is something that can be set per folder, so having UI for it makes sense. Most of the other options i know and use are either per filesystem or per subvolume. In my opinion that makes it better to have dedicated UI for them if someone is interested, not in Dolphin.

I totally agree with Grzegorz. See also Bug 457363: file/folder properties→compression tab could also show some visualisation of compsize data.
