STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a read-only folder in a generally writable protocol (e.g. regular file)
2. Drop a file into that folder

OBSERVED RESULT
A menu pops up asking whether I wan to move/copy/link.
Clicking any of them will cause a message telling me the destination is not writable

EXPECTED RESULT
The menu doesn't show. Instead I'm told that dropping is not possible here earlier
