STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open "discover" 
2. shrink the window
3. expand the window

OBSERVED RESULT
There is an incomprehensible gray rectangle on the left panel

EXPECTED RESULT
Left panel without this bug

Ah, this is fixed already in Plasma 5.27.
