The device profile is set to "Mono Input", changing that to something else should make the output part of the device appear @Nicolas Fella: your suggestion helped. Thank you. |
Created attachment 154794 [details] Systemsettings - Audio window SUMMARY The 8086:0808 usb sound car is detectable in system settings as "recording device", but not as "playback device". Interesting point: the card is being detectable and working as playback in "Audacity" - the audio recording and editing application - in the same OS. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. put 8086:0808 usb sound card to the usb port 2. put jack headphones into the sound card output 3. open system settings -> audio and see that the sound card is not detected as "playback device" OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT the 8086:0808 sound card is detected as "playback device".
