SUMMARY

-can not copy or paste into notepad or use tools>clipboard to encrypt text
-can not read notepad section, text and lines mixed up and overlayed ontop of each other
-issues selection who to encrypt for
-issues encrypting anything at all since latest update

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. copy & paste into notepad
2. use clipboard at all for encrytion or decryption
3. try to do anything and it'll reproduce the issues if same problem as mine

I'm not sure if this is the right platform for this even and never bug or error reprted anything before and am trying to this as best as I can but since the latest tails update (5.8) Kleopatra has been next to useless, unreadable, unable to copy or paste and clipboard not functioning at all, etc.
Managed to encrypt one parragraph but unable to check if it even did that correctly afterwards.
Not having a whinge and I appreciate your work and effort you all put into somethinglike this and haven't had any issues at all till now but figured if no one says anything then nothing gets solved or maybe its just my system so I'd want to find out either way.

So I downloaded a live CD of latest tails because this was the second report and it might be possible that tails had misconfigured kleopatra.

For me the only thing that did not work was to paste External Text, so Something I had copied e.g. from Konsole into Kleopatra. But this must be an issue with Tails hardening, maybe limiting clipboard actions. 

Everything else worked as expected. Plain Tails 5.8 with Kleopatra 3.1.11.

So I resolve this as Worksforme, Interaction with an external Clipboard is probably something to report to tails bugtracker but there is nothing Kleopatra can do about this.
