Does it still happen if you disable the Plasma splash screen using System Settings > Appearance > Splash Screen > None? There is no issue if I disable the splash screen. It initially shows a black screen with just the mouse pointer after I switch back to the first TTY, but after <1s, plasma starts correctly. Thanks for the info! One thing though: when I do this TTY switching with the splash screen disabled, once plasma loads, it will not show the usual keyboard layout indicator. Aha, we fixed this for Plasma 6.3 |
