STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open Dolphin
2. if the information panel is not active, active it by pressing F11
3. open a folder containing dozens or hundreds of files
4. set the icon view mode
5. hover over any file and scroll the files list repeatedly

OBSERVED RESULT
Scrolling is choppy. Apparently the information panel blocks the scrolling while it updates.
This does not occur if I scroll while hovering over the scroll bar.

EXPECTED RESULT
normal scrolling

Cannot reproduce with Dolphin 23.04.
