Because Icelandic is not supported by Plasma. We have no translations for Icelandic. That's not correct. Icelandic has been a part of KDE since the late 90's, and the language package is a part of the distribution (see here: https://l10n.kde.org/stats/gui/stable-kf5/team/is/). There has not been much work done in the recent years, but we've started work to update it now. KLocalizedString::availableDomainTranslations("plasmashell")

Yeah, that seems likely (seems to apply to more languages: https://www.mail-archive.com/kde-bugs-dist@kde.org/msg748690.html*). I know I should RTFM, but I can't find info on how to include it. Are there particular rules that apply when a language is included (like a minimum percentage translated, etc.)? *I honestly did a search in the database for similar instances to mine, but apparently not well enough, as the entry above should have popped up :-) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 462168 *** |
