STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select Slideshow remote
2. Turn screen off and use volume buttons to change slides

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens when the screen is off. After screen is turned on, every volume button action registers at once.

EXPECTED RESULT
Volume buttons should change slides normally when screen is off.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This issue might be caused by Android 13. I previously tested with android 10, 11, and 12 and it worked fine.
