SUMMARY
Currently you can only see the first page of a multi page tiff file. Perhaps other pages can be shown similar to the group view?

My use case for this is managing the front and back of photos I have scanned. Currently I have to rely on the file name to identify front/back. It would be much easier if I could save the back as a second page in the tiff file.

Currently, digiKam do not support multi-images container as TIFF.

I know that other formats can host multiple entries, a RAW, or HEIF.

The Q is how to deal :

1/ with loader: we need to implement the right code to point on the wanted entry in file.
2/ with icon view to render thumbnails: a stack as grouped items with a different approach on GUI.
3/ with image editor to select wanted entry: a new option can ask to user which entry to use (similar than Gimp).
