The cause for this is that akonadi memory usage is counted as part of calendar usage (because kalendar started akonadi). I'm currently working on improving the memory usage of akonadi |
Created attachment 153860 [details] i attech a image of usage SUMMARY kalendar app using extremely high amount of ram STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. open resource monitor 2. open kalendar 3. see ram usage of kalendar app OBSERVED RESULT a basic calendar that i was using in gnome was using 80-100mb of ram with gtk4 libadwaita but i find kde's kalendar using more than 600mb of ram which is unexpected for a less resource system. EXPECTED RESULT it should use ram less than 150mb.
