SUMMARY

It'd be nice to be able to restart the session or machine without losing the open tabs in Konsole. Most applications (e.g. Dolphin, Firefox) have that feature.

In the past, X11 session management served this purpose, but with wayland that is not a thing any more, so it'd be great if Konsole implemented something like this itself.

I notice firefox restarts automatically but not konsole

This function should save the tab set every time it changes, not just in the end of the session, just like modern browsers do.
If konsole is killed and re-started the tabs should be restored.

I'm not sure about the intention, but I suspect this bug should depend on https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=436318.
