SUMMARY
Somebody made a website to uncover a popular error in the handling of gamma correction:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. download https://carlmastrangelo.com/files/gamma-steganography/mux.png
2. open it with Gwenview

OBSERVED RESULT
An almost white picture is shown.

EXPECTED RESULT
"This is fine" is shown.

Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 22.04
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.6
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Krita also has the bug, but it shows the "This is not fine" version.

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Gwenview 25.08.0?
