SUMMARY
In Energy Saving (System Settings) in On Battery tab with “While asleep hibernate after a period of inactivity” checked (in other tabs it’s unchecked), it works pretty good. But it hibernates when on AC too. With the box unchecked it will stop going into hibernation after suspend both when on AC and when on Battery.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Check "While asleep hibernate after a period of inactivity" only in On Battery tab.
2. Close laptop lid with AC adapter connected.
3. Wait for several hours.
4. Open latop lid.

OBSERVED RESULT
Laptop in hibernation.

EXPECTED RESULT
Laptop wakes up from suspend.

Can't reproduce on latest version. The problem is only in considering latest state before suspending: if I suspend laptop and then unplug AC it will only suspend and will never suspend then hibernate. But afaik it is not a bug, but flaw of systemd.
