Hi, thank you for the report. Can you provide more information: * What is the version of your distribution * How did you install GCompris * In a terminal, can you run "gcompris-qt" and paste here the output * Did it crash everytime or just once or randomly Cheers (In reply to Jazeix Johnny from comment #1) > Hi, > > thank you for the report. > > Can you provide more information: > * What is the version of your distribution > * How did you install GCompris > * In a terminal, can you run "gcompris-qt" and paste here the output > * Did it crash everytime or just once or randomly > > Cheers Kubuntu 22.04.1 GCompris 2.3-1 When I was on (on the top right in Discover) manual:ubuntu-jammy-universe on GCompris it every time opens the icon with the name in task manager on the taskbar and then disappears as it crashes and nothing happens. When I move to snap - 2.4 and press launch it works correctly. Thank you, I'll try to reproduce with a GCompris 2.3 installed from packages. Good to know the latest version works fine. Thx, how to download the latest version of GCompris and run it plz? I use Discover in Kubuntu and press install and then choose sources=snap and press Launch and it opens... So, as Johnny asked above, we would need you to provide the log to see what is the problem on your system. To do this open a terminal (in Kubuntu, that would be the software Konsole), there type gcompris-qt, press enter, and after the crash copy all the text output from the terminal and paste it here. About running the latest version (2.4), beside the snap package, you can use our official standalone installer, see on our download page for all the details: https://gcompris.net/downloads-en.html#linux Can you re-try with a more recent version?
