The errors in the log are sent by Qt and not any KDE code, and also won't have anything to do with apps. If you're having a stability issue with an app, in general you should start by reporting it to the app's author. Thanks! |
Created attachment 153371 [details] Some kwin and plasmashell errors from the syslog SUMMARY Am getting quite a few kwin and plasmashell errors in the syslog ( see the attachment ) and am experiencing stability issues with some apps. For example, since upgrading to Firefox 102, FF seems to be very unstable (hangs at least 2-3 times a day). I was blaming FF before for that but now looking at the errors it occurred to me that the problem may be with KDE. OBSERVED RESULT See the attached syslog snippet for sample of kwin and plasmashell errors. EXPECTED RESULT There should be no kwin and plasmashell errors in the syslog.
