Windows Explorer, shortcut to desktop.

SUMMARY
This feature is basically a rip-off of an ability Windows Explorer has: being able to create a shortcut of a file or folder, on the Desktop. I think it would be a neat addition to folks that have desktop icons enabled, and to Windows refugees (done in part by the Steam Deck). Symlinks already do the job well, but it isn't as intuitive as 'Right-click > Copy to > Copy to Desktop (Shortcut)'. There's also a third-party service by Intika that allows this: https://store.kde.org/p/1290373 .

Keep in mind that we're not trying to explicitly copy Windows. See https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Design/Lessons_Learned#Copying_other_platforms.

To create a shortcut on the desktop, you can drag the thing to the desktop and click "Link here" in the little popup menu that appears. Arguably this approach is more intuitive than using a context menu that has a "make a link to this thing on the desktop" menu item, which is an oddly specific and fairly random-feeling thing for it to have. Our system is universal and generic; you can make links anywhere in the same way. But "intuitive" is often used synonymously with "what I'm used to, so if you don't agree, what's why Dolphin is extensible with 3rd-party plugins, and the one you found that mimics the relevant Windows featureseems like an adequate solution.
