I forgot to mention that I am using pulseaudio and not pipewire because of other bugs I face with pipewire.
Comment 3 Nate Graham 2022-11-01 14:58:08 UTC
Can you temporarily switch to PipeWire and see if the issue goes away? Thanks!
Comment 4 Yusuf Jamal 2022-11-03 15:19:58 UTC
It indeed does go away (which is why I mentioned I am using PA and not pipewire) but pipewire is very buggy for me
Comment 5 Nate Graham 2022-11-03 16:19:17 UTC
None of the big developers are still using pure PulseAudio, so I think this is unlikely to be investigated and fixed. If anyone wants to, they are welcome to, but I don't expect any big developers to, so so I'm closing the bug report to avoid cluttering up the bug tracker. Thanks for understanding. :)
