Test appimage version.
Enable movit playback acceleration.
In next restart Kdenlive crash in startup.

That problem almost return and from some previous versions movit is extremely unstable at point not being possible drag drop an file in timeline crashing kdenlive too.

Here using Focal 20.04.5 thus being not any Kdenlive new version.
I not want upgrade for Ubuntu 22.04.5 only to try see if that problem bug not happen too.
Not any users or devs replying in kdenlive forums.
Hard try help reporting bugs. I not understand if that movit resource not will be fixed or is problem in movit libraries not being here the correct local to report the bug.

Thank you for reporting.

In the AppImage MOVIT is disabled on purpose because it's not stable and leads to crash. GPU acceleration is on our roadmap and will be implemented in the future. 

I change this bug to "wishlist" that it can be tracked.
