We could allow the text to become a multi-line string, but this would reduce information density for people with a lot of events that *do* fit in the available space. So that would be trading one issue for another.

Happily, since you're using Plasma 5.26, you can self-satisfy by resizing the pop-up to be wider until the text does fit.
