SUMMARY

Please add the ability to map devices to keyboard shortcuts. I'd like to be able to switch between speakers and headset without having to go to system tray.

Interesting feature request.

For now you could write a script which tells pulse-audio / pipewire to use some particular output as default, and bind a global shortcut to that script (System Settings -> Shortcuts -> Add Application)

Seems unfortunately out of scope for the default feature set. I think you really just want to script this using pactl.
