STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  Resize kickoff
2.  Click on the search field and type something

OBSERVED RESULT
kickoff resizes back to its default size

EXPECTED RESULT
doesn't resize

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.99.0
Qt Version: 5.15.6

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Only happens the first time on each plasmashell run. Then it works fine until plasmashell is restarted.

That's odd. Cannot reproduce on Wayland. Are you on X11?

Also does this happen any other resizable popups that have search fields in them, such as the one for the Networks plasmoid?

No, I'm on wayland.

The networks plasmoid is not resizable for me..
