STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open SDDM KCM
2. click on the button to change the background of your SDDM theme
3. choose a background from your file system and apply it
4. close System Settings
5. reopen SDDM KCM
6. click on the button to change the backgound of your SDDM theme

OBSERVED RESULT
'Change background' popup opens and shows the default SDDM background

EXPECTED RESULT
'Change background' popup opens and shows the background chosen and applied in the step 3
