STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open Gwenview
2. click on anything under Places, Remote, Recent, Devices sections of the Places panel
3. hover over anything inside the clciked thing

OBSERVED RESULT
The buttons highlighted in red in the attached screenshot are pointless. They do nothing.

EXPECTED RESULT
the highllighted button should be removed

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Gwenview 25.08.0?
